The Vice President, Sales and Client Management is responsible for driving business growth by leading sales strategy, building strong client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. This role represents the company’s value in the marketplace, cultivating trust with customers, prospects, and strategic partners. The VP collaborates with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with company goals and explore emerging markets. They implement efficient sales and client management processes, while continuously seeking feedback to enhance the customer experience. What you will do:

Sales Strategy and Market Growth:

  • Represents the brand and value proposition to secure new customers and expand market presence
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities across emerging and existing markets
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop unified sales strategies that align with company goals

Client Relationship Management:

  • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners
  • Addresses clients need promptly and proactively seeks feedback to improve service delivery
  • Cultivates a broad and diverse network to support client growth and engagement efforts

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Leads by example through strong communication, influence, and long-term vision
  • Mentors, motivates, and develops high-performing teams to achieve business objectives
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Market Analysis and Operational Excellence:

  • Analyzes trends in the PBM marketplace to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Enhance sales and client management efficiency through tools, processes, and best practices
  • Collaborates across departments to ensure seamless delivery of value-added solutions

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus however, 15+ of relevant professional experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry, including oversight of large, strategic accounts
  • Extensive experience collaborating with employers, PBMs, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and industry stakeholders
  • Over 15 years in sales and client management, including 8+ years in pharma, PBM, or related sectors
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills; effective at influencing all stakeholder levels
  • Strategic and business-minded, with a track record of aligning sales efforts with organizational goals
  • Customer-focused, dedicated to delivering value, satisfaction, and lasting partnerships
